Ghanaian gospel musician, Celestine Donkor has called on Christians in Ghana to support Piesie Esther to win the Artiste of the Year at the 2023 VGMA.
Celestine disclosed that Piesie Esther has done exceedingly well because as a gospel artiste, it takes so much effort and time to get such nominations and this is why she is rooting for her to win the Artiste of the Year and other all the other categories she is on.
In a post she shared on her Facebook page sighted by 1Family Radio, celestine appealed to the church to vote for Piesie Esther in order for her to win at least not less than four nominations.
She stated, “even though I am a nominee, I am solidly rooting for my dear sister, Piesie Esther to win not less than 4 awards at this year’s #VGMA23, plus the overall, Artiste of the Year.’’
“This song is a blessing to the body of Christ. Let’s all arise and vote for her, ‘na nipa ye adea, ose ayeyi,’’ she noted.
She added that being an artiste herself, she understands the effort it takes to get to the top. “As an artist I know the weight of effort she has put in pushing her hit song #WAYEMIYIE and investment made in her craft,’’ she furthered.
“She deserves all including the ultimate. I call it done for her in Jesus name and all the saints shall say…..Amennnn with massive voting!! Please vote for her,’’ she stated.
