Mubarak Wakaso, a Ghanaian footballer has paid his last respect to the late Christian Atsu Twasam.
In an emotional tribute shared by Wakaso on his social media pages, he indicated that he is having a hard time coping with the death of his close friend.
“It’s so difficult for me to express in words how I am feeling,’’ the tribute sighted by 1Family Radio noted.
“Since the hearing about the earthquake on 6th February, I had hope that you were still alive. I never believed that this would turn into sadness,’’ Wakaso stated.
According to him, Atsu was like the friend who sticks better that a brother to him, he noted, ‘’you were my everyday guy, my friend, my brother. We played together, we laughed together and we ate together.
He furthered that Atsu was not only his friend but someone he also trusted in so much. “You were someone who I trusted in everything because in a good and a bad situation you were always with there for,’’ the player lamented.
“I have been here just looking at our pictures, reading our messages and watching our videos. All I have now is the memories in which I will cherish forever,’’ the Genk midfielder hinted.Wakaso concluded, ‘’rest in peace. Love from your brother, Wakaso Mubarak.
