Efia Odo, a Ghanaian actress and musician has disclosed that she doesn’t care if some Ghanaians don’t regard her as a musician.
Speaking in an interview on United Showbiz monitored by 1Family Radio, the actress indicated that it takes time and commitment to grow in the entertainment industry.
Responding to the statement made by Sista Afia that she doesn’t regard Efia Odo as a musician, the actress asserted that everbody is entitled to their opinion and if this is Sista Afia’s view on her music, she doesn’t care.
“I am not bothered if some Ghanaians don’t regard me as a musician because there are others who regard me as a musician,’’ she stated. According to her, there are so many musicians in Ghana who have not been able to reach 2000 views on YouTube.
“I will never be worried if people don’t regard me as a musician because I do music from a passionate place, I put so much passion in it,” she noted.
According to Efia Odo, it takes patience and tenacity to grow in the music industry. Citing Kwadwo Sheldon as an example, she hinted that the YouTube influencer has so many views on YouTube although he started not long ago.
“It takes patience and commitment to get to the top in this industry,” she concluded.
