Today marks 66 years Ghana gained independence from colonial rule. The 66th Independence Day celebration will be observed at Ho, the Volta Regional capital on the 6th of March, 2023.
The 66th Independence Day celebration is themed “Our Unity, Our Strength, Our Purpose.” Some notable Ghanaian and foreign personalities are expected to present during the celebration.
News reaching us is that the Special Guest of Honor is in the person of President Umaro Sissoco Embaló, the Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) and also the president of Guinea Bissau.
His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to speak on the current state of affairs.
