Bola Tinubu has been declared the winner of Nigeria’s presidential election

Bola Tinubu won the election with 8,794,726 votes.

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate has been declared the winner of Nigeria’s presidential election.

The general election was held on February 25,2023. Tinubu contested with Atiku Abubakar, the candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party and Peter Obi, the candidate for the Labour Party and Rabiu Kwankwaso, the candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party.Yakubu

On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu declared Bola Tinubu as the president-elect of Nigeria at the International Collation Centre in Abuja.

Tinubu won the elections after obtaining  8,794,726 of the votes casted.

The president-elect will be given his certificate later in the day at the International Conference Centre in Abuja
