Emmanuel Kojo Jones-Mensah, a Ghanaian young millionaire has picked up the NDC nominations forms to enable him contest in the upcoming parliamentary primaries elections of the party after announcing his intentions to contest for the Keta seat in parliament.
A post sighted by 1Family Radio on Kojo’s Twitter page highlighted on some factors that incited him to contest as the member of parliament for the Keta constituency.
In his statement, he indicated that he has officially picked up nomination forms to contest in the upcoming primaries elections in Keta which will take place on the 13th of May 2023.
According to him, the current state of underdevelopment, the level of poverty, poor educational standard and youth unemployment in the Keta constituency are some of the factors that motivated him to contest in the upcoming primaries.
He added that serious, strategic and transformational leadership must always come from the Keta because the founder of the NDC party, Late Jerry John Rawlings hails from Keta which makes the constituency the spiritual home of the party.
Kojo Jones in his post noted that he is duty bound to contribute his quota to the upliftment of the lives of the people of Keta. He furthered that his trinity agenda of Unity, Development and Welfare for keta cannot be dislodged because it has been perfected by the handiwork of God.
