Media took the best part of me – Jessica Opare Saforo

Jessica Opare Saforo, a Ghanaian media personality, entrepreneur and TV presenter has announced her reasons for quitting her media career when she turned forty amidst tears.

She asserted her reasons for quitting on her YouTube channel. After more than fifteen years of being in the media firm, she quitted at the age of forty and went into full- time YouTubing.

She claimed she quitted her job because she wanted to venture into other things and also to rediscover herself. Also the best part of her life was dedicated to her media career and she needed some time for herself.

Jessica recounted that when she decided to quit from her career, it was all over social media and some reporters even said that she was having disagreements with her former boss. However, she debunked this allegation and noted that she is still in good terms with her former boss. She stated that all the allegations levelled against her were not true.

She noted that she made the decision to quit months before she turned forty years. She felt that she needed to rediscover who she is and thus the need to quit from her media career.

Jessica asserted that she is now exploring her dreams and she has been able to do things she thought was impossible. 

Jessica furthered that venturing into YouTube has been very fulfilling and she has been able to achieve most of her dreams in life. Although she doesn’t post most of the things happening in life on social media, she loves what she is doing. 

She concluded that she doesn’t miss her former job.
