Rev. Gloria Kani has lambasted some Ghanaians for what she termed as a preconceived plan to sabotage Rev. Elvis Agyeman, the founder of Alpha Hour.
Rev. Elvis has been subjected to some sort of criticism after a picture which was supposedly captured in his control room with a heap of money went viral. A money-counting machine was also captured where the money was being counted in the supposed picture.
This has triggered a lot of controversies on social media while some bloggers has tagged him as a covetous person who enriches himself to the detriment of naïve Christians.
Rev. Gloria Kani vehemently oppose this conception, saying that Rev. Elvis is an unfeigned man of God who does not extort money from church members.
In a video she posted on Instagram, she stated ‘’the Alpha Hour man has not swindled anyone’’. She said that this pastor does not give unnecessary prophecies unlike other men of God. She further stated that Rev. Elvis operates solely on the word of God and prayers not the wealth of his church members.
Rev. Kani also said that some people willingly give cars, houses and money to their pastors. She believes these people give these gifts out because they know what God has done for them especially those who join the pastor’s prayer sessions and they are just giving back to God. Rev. Kani also stated that some people sow in faith because they are expecting testimonies from God.
Gloria lamented that Ghanaians should change from the habit of pulling down people who are doing well for themselves. She stated that it is becoming worrisome the rate at which Ghanaians hate to see other people prosper.
She finished by saying that “all those who feel threatened by Rev. Elvis should go and burn the sea’’.
