Christopher Nettey, the former Asante Kotoko defender has finally apologized to the supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak for referring to the club as an SHS club.

Christopher Nettey, the former Asante Kotoko defender has finally apologized to the supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak for referring to the club as an SHS club. He apologized to the Phobians in an interview on Accra based sister radio station (Asempa) monitored by 1Family radio.

The former defender stated in one of his previous interviews that Asante kotoko FC is more of a university while it competitor Accra Hearts of Oak just like an SHS. Some supporters of the club did not take this statement likely and in turn demanded for an apology from him.

After his departure from Asante kotoko FC, Christopher rendered an apology to the fans of Accra Hearts of oak saying that he regretted making such comment and promised that such thing will not repeat itself again. “I want to say sorry to any supporter who wasn’t happy about the comment I made’’. He stated, the apology goes to both the supporters and fans of the Accra Hearts of Oak club
